A Dowse Drive house has been selected to feature on a new TVNZ production called Karaeoke High.

The house will become the home of Lara, a teenager who wants to become a ballet dancer. Filming was to start in mid-September, and will continue off-and-on until November. The programme will replace Shortland Street when it takes its summer break.
