Get the latest news using an RSS feed PDF Print E-mail

Sick and tired of always visiting your favourite websites to catch up on all the latest news. Wouldn't it be much easier if when a website got updated, you got told straight away? Well now you can get all the latest news, including the news from this website, aggregated into your own personal news feed!

What do I need?

All you need is a newsreader - a little application that does all the hardwork for you. A good one that's free is Feedreader, but there are plenty of others around as well.

What do I do?

Follow the instructions you have for the newsreader you have - if you get stuck, try the help files in the application, or the makers website.

Where a feed is available, you will see the following icon on the left hand side of the page

Click on the icon that represents the feed type that you want eg RSS2.0. You will be redirected to a page that looks as if contains a whole lot of code. Don't worry about what comes up, but copy (Select and the CTRL-C)  the address / url at the top of the page. Paste (CTRL-V) this into the feedreader application according to the instructions for the feedreader you have (this will be the feed address or location or something similar), save it, and when the page updates, you get the update sent to you directly!
