The Maungaraki Community Centre has a supper room and kitchen suitable for small gatherings of up to about 30 people, and a hall with a half-sized basketball court suitable for bigger functions.

The Community Hall has been used for many functions over the years, from self-defence classes, to our Community Quiz Nights, to the School Discos and for Birthday Parties and Wedding Receptions.

Rates can vary depending on the booking type, but we now have a special new locals rate - only $180 for an overnight 24hr hire down from the normal $240! Casual Hire is generally ONLY $10 PER HOUR for the supper room with a minimum charge of $40 per session of up to 4hrs.
